Come to a jobs fair with a difference! Follow the Work Live Leicestershire (WiLL) project on their ‘WiLL Roadshow’ tour.
In conjunction with our extensive partner network, the WiLL project are holding a series of ‘Job Seekers Fair’ events, taking place across rural Leicestershire, over August and September.
Expect to be introduced to a host of jobs, apprenticeships and employment opportunities on each occasion, due to the links we have established with local companies and organisations.
We plan to present the job roles, discuss which positions are best for you and then approach the relevant employers, on your behalf, which takes the pressure off you.
As we are an employment support project, there’s no hard sell from over-eager recruitment consultants, these are events meant to inform and inspire you to want these roles.
If you are not quite ready to join the workforce, it’s still more than worth attending, as we and our partners wish to showcase our services and give an in-depth overview.
Aside from the jobs we have access to, we offer careers advice, job search support, education and training, along with self-employment and business start-up advice.
Five Job Seekers Fair events are to be held in total, which will start on Thursday August 11 at the Pathways Centre, Hinckley Baptist Church.
The second Job Seekers Fair is hosted by the WiLL project’s Melton Mowbray based partner, Access All Areas, at their Phoenix House base, on Wednesday August 17.
The third event is set for the Marlene Reid Centre, in Coalville, on Thursday August 25, with two further and final dates planned for September.
That takes the Job Seekers Fair to the Arc Community Hub, in Loughborough, on Tuesday September 6 and to Market Harborough’s Symington Building on Wednesday September 14.
Entry to these events is FREE and all run from 10am to 2pm on the day. All are welcome, but expressions of interest are invited, so we can plan ahead for the numbers expected.
