Our Christmas-themed sustainability competition asks entrants not to throw away their unwanted belongings or leave them to gather dust.
It rings true that one person’s junk is another person’s treasure, so why let any items go to waste? At this time of year, for the people most in need, we should all be giving.
We challenge you to have a clear-out, bag up anything that you no longer want and take it to your local charity shop. This can be clothes, toys and bric-a-brac, to name but a few.
Remember that your donation could really make someone else’s Christmas and is also good for the environment, so everyone is a winner!
Take a picture of yourself dropping off the items, for our social media channels, and the more creative, the better.
Drop the image onto any of our competition posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn or, if you don’t have a social media account, we will do it for you.
We will give away a Work Live Leicestershire goodie bag to the best photo, selected by our panel of judges, that we receive, so your good deed may well be rewarded.
Just email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0116 249 8828, for more information or to put forward your entries. Let’s make it a sustainable Christmas!
